Bunnies are Back!
We have some egg-cellent news….it’s time for our annual bunny mini sessions! Easter’s coming a little early this year, and we love that we get to offer mini sessions in our warm (and dry!) studio!
If you haven’t booked a bunny mini session with us before, you’re missing out. However, you’re in luck because, this year, these festive mini sessions are only $99—no yoke! (okay, that’s our last Easter pun. Promise.) We know that memories are priceless, but this really is an awesome value! Check out what goes into these sessions:
Props, Props, & More Props!
Over the years, Camera Shy has accumulated lots of different props. Sometimes, things come in handy as we start planning for our specialty sessions! We had these cute teepees in our storage from a mini session we did a few years ago and we knew we had to bring them back! We want our mini sessions to be a good mix between trendy and timeless: we want our final product to be cute, original, and elicit feelings of happiness and imagination.
After deciding to make our teepees the centerpiece of our first set-up, we needed to grab some more props. After a day of shopping, we found some props to make this first set-up adorably boho. For our second set-up, we found this stunning blue for our wall. We handmade these boxes and they bring a sleek and simple look to our bunny minis this year. Its simplicity works really well with the vibrancy of the wall and is great for sessions with kids of all ages!
Bunnies
Okay, this is the obvious one, but it’s also the most important part of these mini sessions! One of our joys is seeing a family come in for a bunny mini sessions and falling in love with the bunny they worked with. If you didn’t know, we allow fee-free adoptions for these bunnies after our mini sessions end (just before Easter!). We want to help these bunnies find homes with children that will love and care for them, and it’s amazing getting to see a preview of that love during your mini sessions with us. The reason we choose to adopt these bunnies fee-free is because we don’t want finances to be a barrier for deciding families; we know that the bunnies’ housing, food, and other basic materials add up, and we want to make the transition for these adoptive families easy.
Our staff has so much fun with the bunnies every year! When we don’t have any sessions in the studio, we allow them to run around and exercise. It takes dedication to make sure that the care of these bunnies is held to a very high standard, but our staff is always prepared and ready! Oftentimes, when we peek into our editing rooms, we see our photographers cuddling their bunnies as they edit photos. What can we say? We’re a bunch of animal lovers!
