Your session will last 30-45 minutes, and during that time, the studio is yours. You'll have dozens of different background options to choose from. We have everything from classic wayne's coating walls, rustic outdoor settings, cute curtains, contemporary furniture and props, and anything in between. Camera Shy spends every effort to give families many options for both the classic looks, as well as staying very current on all the trendy looks that Moms love.

During your session we'll capture individual images of each child, as well as great group photos that will capture the personality of your special family. Our policy is that anyone not in your immediate family book an additional session so we can be sure that we have time to capture great portraits of everyone in the time allowed.

You'll get 40-60 individually edited images on your disc. We'll also include a selection of beautiful and tasteful edits on our favorite images from your session. Also included is your print release that will allow you to have additional enlargements printed wherever you'd like.

The original size images included on your disc are the same high-resolution files that we use to print the huge enlargements in our lobby.

Yes, Camera Shy can print up to 16x20 enlargements in the studio on the same day as your visit. Anything larger than that, we can also print and have ready for you in under a week.

At Camera Shy, we have carefully calibrated all of our lights, cameras, computers, and printers to provide beautiful color that will truly make your images stand out. All of our enlargements are printed on archival, high-quality, epson luster paper. Feel free to purchase prints of your images at less expensive photo stores, but there really is a difference you can see and feel when you have high-quality enlargements printed by the experts at Camera Shy.

Yes! We always keep a large selection of unique props custom designed just for Camera Shy. We do rotate props in and out to keep things fresh and current, but we guarantee you'll find plenty of choices that you'll fall in love with.

Definitely! Our studio rooms were designed to accommodate large groups of 30 or more! During extended family sessions, our main focus will be to get a great photograph of the entire group. We'll also get a grouping of all of the grandchildren together.

We require that each family book an additional session if you would like individual shots of each family member.

15 or more people: - $258 Session Fee (Including print release CD)
Groups of 15 or more will get 1 hour and 20 minutes of session time. If your group is larger than 15 people, please call ahead to book your appointment. During your session, we'll also get a grouping of all of the grandchildren, and one pose of each separate family group.

Yes! Our outdoor sessions start at $129. You'll get an authentic, Utah-inspired outdoor session at one of our beautiful nearby locations. Come enjoy naturally rustic areas, railroad crossings, brick walls, and tin structures. Or, get the best of both worlds with our indoor/outdoor sessions. Get amazing, natural light photos, and then come back to the studio for a fun mini-session on our uniquely designed indoor settings. Call ahead to book your outdoor session appointment. 801.766.4466

Our photographers have been told they have the "Magic Touch" Just bring them our way, and we'll get great shots that you'll love, with expressions that bring out their true personality.

You're welcome to bring outfit changes, and we would be happy to help you decide which would look best. Check out our gallery and facebook pages for great ideas on what to wear!

Usually about an hour to an hour and a half after your session. Your photographer will coordinate when will be the best time to come back and view your images after your session.

During this time, our artists will be editing all of your images and adding effects to your best shots.

If you are unable to return to view your images on the same day, we ask that you call ahead to book a viewing appointment so we that can best serve you during your visit.
